Posts!

So today started off horrible.  We got to the lake at 9am, and it was pouring.  It poured (with occasional lulls to just showers to tease us) until the afternoon.   We resigned ourselves to being soaked, and worked on our wall sheathing in the deluge.

When the rain finally let up, our neighbor Emilio came by to help (he was originally going to meet us at nine to work on our ridgepole).  We decided it was too late to try for the ridgepoles, but we did put up the roof support posts and assorted bracing.  Then I worked on marking all the rafter locations on the ridgepoles and sundry other tasks, while V2 and Emilio put up more sheathing.

So here is our progress today.  Forecast for next weekend looks good, so hopefully ridgepoles and rafters will be next week.
