We've been up to the camp just a couple of times this year - not as often as we'd like, so far. So today we took a vacation day to try and really get some stuff done. We have most of the basement framing in, and a few surprises:
| Today National Grid was stringing our wires |
| We have a lawn (well, maybe after a few more bags of grass seed. Try to use your imagination!) |
| Our basement framing from today. Ignore the mound of junk under the stairs. |
Final shot down the driveway of our new power poles. They even strung the wire; all that is left is the hookup to the house. |
We plan on a work/vacation weekend with the boys and dog for Memorial Day, after which the rest of the interior framing and hopefully a large chunk of the wiring will get done. Now that we have just 20 feet of space and an inspection separating us from power, it's pretty exciting! We could have running water! Flushing toilets! A working shower! And actual lights!
