On July 4 my brother, who has been helping out with our camp wiring, came up to camp with another brother and a friend. The result? Our electric panel is in, ready for service inspection and hook up. Not only do we have they panel in but they tied in the well pump, hot water, and two outlets, so once we get inspection done and National Grid does their thing we will have power!
We spent most of the sweltering holiday weekend at camp, working on wiring in the mornings until it go too hot, then swimming and actually pretending to be on vacation for the hottest part of the day.
Our service inspection will be next weekend. There are still a lot of wires to be run, but it will be great to be able to be at camp without lugging buckets of water uphill from the well overflow pipe!
