Lights!!!!

This was a shortened slave-cation week; we went up Friday night and back home the following Friday afternoon.  We got a lot done in the first half of the week, then decided Thursday and Friday were going to be relaxation days.  Of course, weather was beautiful while we worked, and pouring once we actually had time to do something on the lake.

On Saturday, Number Two Brother stopped by with a pair of old dressers for the loft, and hooked up most of our kitchen outlets.  After running the entire camp off two construction outlets it was great to finally be able to make coffee and toast at the same time.  It also inspired us to put in most of the kitchen ceiling, so that on Wednesday evening when Number Two Brother again came by (this time accompanied by Number One Brother) they were able to do not only the kitchen, dining room and basement lights, but also all the outlets in the living and dining room too!

Not only that, but Number Two Brother brought along a dishwasher, courtesy of a friend who had remodeled his kitchen.  Of course, we still have to get the kitchen sink in, but we had the materials for the counter delivered and we have at least marked off the spot where the sink will someday (hopefully soon) be.  And with a new working electric stove hookup, we ordered an electric stove which was delivered on Friday.
