Actual walls

So we managed to not only finish our wall framing, but even get the back sheathing on - as much of it as we can put on without a second floor, at least.

Actually, what we spent most of the weekend doing was shifting piles of building materials around.  The wall sheathing was under the roof sheathing (and a couple windows).  I experienced a bit of panic that we seemed to be missing half our ridgepole, before discovering it at the very bottom of the back pile in the basement.  Under 15 windows, and ALL the rafters.  So, first order of business next time is to drag the rafters up to the first floor so we can actually get to the ridgepole pieces.

We have a neighbor who will help us get the ridgepole up, which (fingers crossed for good weather) should be this coming weekend.

And our inside-the-basement piles are really dwindling, though I don't yet have a picture of that.

Here's our new back (or I guess front since that's where the door is) wall:

Tired, dirty, but with walls!  Well, wall...
