On the Saturday morning drive to camp, V2 and I decided it was a 50/50 chance if our septic leach field was finally complete or not. To our surprise as we turned into the driveway, not only was the septic done (yay!) but the roofers were there, finally adding our front soffits and trim.
So we got to work on the front gable siding, although we weren't able to do much on Sunday because V2 had a piano gig for the afternoon.
